1. The study did not find the practice of aquaculture in intervention or control  woredas  in the S/N/R.
2. Fishing cooperatives that practiced inland capture fishery were found  Hawassa  around.
3. These cooperatives are primary cooperatives which harvest fish from Lake Hawassa using gillnets.
4.  In some cases, the cooperatives harvest fish using spears on the banks of the lake.
5.  The cooperatives produce only raw fish.
